Glide into the new year with vitality and ease. This rejuvenating retreat includes yoga twice daily on most days, morning meditation and 2021 astrological theme discussions. You will discover deep healing and release from traditional Native American sweat lodge, authentic spiritually based yoga flow practices in combination with insight into your life and being through an in-depth analysis of your astrology. Each participant will receive an astrology reading with Julie during the retreat. Join us in this transformation of yourself and make a fresh slate in the new year.

 

Facilitator

Julie Rader is an old school yogini with two decades of teaching yoga and meditation under her belt.  Her mother taught her the power of meditation when she was a teenager, which is the foundation all of her teachings. Julie also has fond memories of being less than ten 10 years-old and watching her grandmother read the newspaper horoscopes.  She has dedicated her life to studying and understanding the power of the mind through meditation and the. The study of astrology has been an influence in her teachings from day one.

 

Behind Julie’s sweet, dreamy, and humble midwestern disposition is a wise and empowered women. She founded Mukti Yoga School in 2004 and has certified hundreds of yoga teachers in Southern California and all around the world. Julie has been featured in publications such as Los Angeles Confidential and Origins, Lululemon advertising campaigns, and has taught at Wanderlust festival. She currently writes the monthly astrology forecast for Women.com.

 

With a Masters Degree in exercise physiology and a Bachelor in Psychology, Julie helps students blend the spiritual aspects of the practice with solid anatomical principles. Julie also studied yoga extensively worldwide and spent 33 days without talking, reading or writing during a 3 month stay at anthe ashram in India. Her teachers include Swami Janakananda, Swami Satyanada, Shiva Rea, Sianna Sherman, and Shakti Mhi.

 

Julie teaches ancient yogic wisdom, academic knowledge, astrological principals and intuition in layman’s terms. In addition to her public classes, she is also a passionate teacher of elite athletes. As an All American collegiate 2-sport athlete herself, Julie is able to make personal connections with her athlete clientele, including the US National teams for volleyball, soccer, and cycling. She is a regular meditation presenter at YPO meetings and has several celebrity clientele. Her intuitive, creative and specific sequencing focuses on matching asana and intention with lunar cycles, seasons, and astrology. Julie’s favorite role in life is being a mother to her two yogis, Samson and Olina.
