Overview

The state of being connected with nature quiets the mind and significantly improves our physical and mental health. All humans are hardwired with an innate affinity for nature, because nature is the source our very existence. Whether it be the still water of a lake or the wildfire running through a forest, the essence of nature is a state of flow, and connecting with nature unites us with this flow state. Immersing into nature improves our well-being by reducing stress and anxiety, inducing happiness and acceptance, and raising energy levels. Attuning to these states greatly assists the body and mind in the healing process. We believe in the power of nature to heal people. We also people that connecting to nature is essential for the well-being of the planet. The condition of the natural world depends on humans having meaningful encounters with nature so that we can create a larger body of environmental stewards.

2,000 Acres of Protected Rainforest

Our non-profit rainforest conservation project, Eco Era, owns and protects 2,000 acres of Costa Rican rainforest located right at the back door of Posada Natura. This expanse of wildlife, trails and waterfalls comes into contact with very few people, and is a truly immersive experience in untouched nature.

Rio Naranjo

Rio Naranjo

Rio Naranjo is one of the cleanest rivers left on earth. Our sanctuary is nestled into the banks of this enchanting body of water. The experience of swimming and bathing in the river helps cleanse mental and emotional anguish, putting you in peaceful flow with the river of life.

Immersive Activities

Immersive Activities

Our programs weave nature immersion into their design. Activities led by experienced guides give our guests a true feeling of intimacy with the natural world.

Waterfalls

Waterfalls

Throughout our land are many waterfalls of varying size. Our largest waterfall is over 100ft, and crashes into crystalline pools of water below. Drinking from the waterfall, and swimming in it's pools is a rare experience harkening back to a time when we all lived immersed in the natural world.
