We offer meditation as a practice in studying ourselves to achieve inner peace. Through studying our minds, patterns and behaviors, where they come from, and how we can rewire to create new, positive, healthy patterns. We teach meditation as way to be present, and learn to rest in what is.
Temazcal is a Native American sweat lodge ritual that rids the body of toxins through sweating and renews the spirit through ritual. Our Temazcal ceremonies take place in a circular, dome-shaped structure that represents the womb, symbolizing rebirth and purification. Within this dome, we red hot rocks are placed on the fire, and we guide participants to experience deep release and catharsis as they sweat and pray. Our facilitators are trained in traditional Nahuatl and Lakota indigenous traditions.
Yoga is much more than exercising the body. It is a practice to connect our body with our breath in order to deepen our inner connection and experience meditative states. It is a moving meditation that re-directs our minds towards awareness of the present moment. Our yoga practice focuses on establishing embodied connection to oneself. We aim to facilitate nurturing and supportive experiences to relieve emotional, physical and mental suffering. Clarity, inner peace and presence are the outcomes.
Sound has been used across cultures for thousands of years as a tool for healing. The intention is to move us to a place of balance and connection. Our sound healing techniques utilize tuning forks and Tibetan and crystal singing bowls that are tuned to high universal vibrations that mimic the healthy frequencies of the cells in the human body. Our sound healing practice harmonizes with the sound of the rainforest, creating deep states of relaxation and healing.
Breathwork is a type of therapy that utilizes breathing exercises to improve mental, physical, and spiritual health. It draws from Eastern practices like yoga and Tai Chi while incorporating Western psychotherapy techniques. Our goal in breathwork facilitation is to strengthen the connection between your body and mind, promoting relaxation and mindfulness.
Panchakarma is a combination of Ayurvedic practices that correct imbalances in the body by encouraging the elimination of harmful toxins out of your system. Our Ayurvedic practices are based on the needs of each individual. The healing procedures we offer include body work, massage, nutrition, and spiritual practice. This treatment process is a deeply cleansing, relaxing and rejuvenating experience.
Our work with plant medicine is facilitated within traditional lineage practices. This ensures the ancient knowledge of correct preparation, conduct and facilitation for successful healing and safety. The wisdom of healing plants and nature opens our hearts to the love within us, allowing the release and healing of traumas stored in our bodies. Through this experience we observe our mental and emotional patterns, behaviors and traumas, which in turn allows us to heal our bodies, minds and souls.
